Ten Months!

So much has happened since my last post!  The last month has brought us another two teeth, a child that pulls up to standing, a great sleeper, and an eater!!  The day his second tooth popped through, he started sleeping twelve hours at a time.  Yippie!  I was thinking we would have a break for a while, but then he started having rough nights again a week or so later.  I peeked in Jonas Henry's mouth and he had an upper incisor coming through!  The second upper tooth is working its way down too.
He surprises himself when he pulls up.  He's so cautious, I'll be surprised if he starts cruising anytime soon.  He gets so tense while standing, and after a minute he starts to scream.  It's pretty funny.
JH now eats!  He's not the biggest veggie fan, but he loves fruits and carbs.  We tried yogurt too this month and he likes it once he gets used to the chill of it.  We're making progress!  He still won't take a bottle, so Jonas gets to drag them all to the hospital for a mid-day nursing.  I really enjoy seeing them all in the middle of my shift, so I'm okay with the no bottle thing...
Jonas Henry is a momma's boy, which I love.  He is the first child to say momma first and it melts my heart.  It makes it sweeter to feed him in the middle of the night when I wake up to mama mama mama mama mama mama...  I just love it.

The sweetest baby!  Happy Ten Months, Jonas Henry!!!

Summer Fun

Blueberries are in season here, and we are really enjoying frequent picking trips and TONS of fresh blueberries.  Well, sixty pounds to be more accurate.  We have eaten nearly all of them, as I only have three quart bags that made it to the freezer.  They are so very tasty!

Our first haul, 12 pounds worth!

This is why most of them only made it as far as our mouths.  While they were drying, tiny hands helped themselves and filled their bellies.

While Lilah was at VBS, Emma and I picked one morning on the most loaded bushes I've ever seen!

Emma didn't want her face painted at the festival, but Lilah knew before we left the house that she wanted a unicorn on her face.
