More Lilah

Lilah has been such a goof ball lately. I can't remember what I told her this morning that she didn't want to hear. "Look at my face mom," she said, "see I not happy?"

Aunt Katie sent Lilah a bunch of Halloween temporary tattoos for her birthday. We've been putting a couple on every few days for the past few weeks. The morning of the first set, we were at playgroup. She walked up to one of the moms, holding her arms out, "Look at my tits!"

This morning she was asking for another tattoo, but was calling it a stamp. It took me a minute to figure out what stamps she was asking for. When I said, 'Oh, a tattoo?!" she said, "yeah, that's I talking about, mom." I had a total flash forward twelve years, because her tone was the same as an exasperated teen, frustrated with her mom not understanding. Already?

On the same topic, Lilah has also changed to calling us Mom and Dad. Jonas is really working to fix it, but it comes so easily to her. I hope she changes back!
