Emma is at the great age now where there are so many funny things she says on a daily basis. I have a few stories I want to remember from the last few days.
We were running to the store while Lilah was in school, and Emma and JH were in the back seat. Emma says, "Aw, Baby Jonas Henry (pronounced bay-jo-henee) is looking out the window. That's so adorable!"
On the way to pick up Lilah from school, Emma was talking about spiders (pronounced biter). We've been working on her S's and so I said, sssspider. She repeated, spider, exactly as I said it. I said, yay Emma, you said it exactly right! She replied, "Yeah! I'm almost big!"
I was having trouble getting Emma to leave playgroup earlier this week. I told her that I was leaving and that she was going to stay with Mrs. Katie from now on and that I love her very much and would miss her very much. I left to go put JH in the car, and a few minutes later Emma came running out and leaped into my arms, hugging me so tightly. I squeezed her tight and told her that I missed her so much. She sweetly replied, "You're my best friend." Made me tear up a bit!
