The kids and I went to North Carolina at the beginning of December. As always, it was awesome just to have fun relaxed time with Nana and Papa, and the NC cousins. I'll try to swipe some of my sister's pictures from our visit, because I was nearly a total slacker and didn't take many at all. Jonas joined us several days before Christmas, and the girls couldn't have been happier. (Jonas Henry is in the middle of the mama only stage, so he was indifferent). We had several new things to add to the baby calendar when we returned home, but mostly just new words and a talent for block-stacking.
The day after Christmas we drove down to Georgia to see Aunt Sarah and family. It amazes me that the kids can pick up right where they left off with all of their cousins, even though it has been maybe six months, or longer in the case of more distant cousins. We came back home on New Year's Eve and it seems to have taken us this long to get settled back into our routine.

It's totally the way Papa is standing, but he sure does look old in this one!
Visiting creepy Santa. Jonas Henry just slumped over and wouldn't move a muscle. Very funny because he stayed like that for several minutes before reaching for me again.
